Matthew was born and raised in Eustis, FL. He began taking piano lessons at age 6 while in private school. Since birth Matthew has shown an interest in music. Everytime he was near a piano or an organ he would always want to play it. Within a few weeks of lessons he was playing pieces from memory. His love for music just kept on growing from the very beginning. He was always at the piano practicing for hours at a time. At the age of 15, he performed his first solo concert at Grand Island Baptist Church. He has played at many events in Lake County and surrounding areas such as the grand opening of Florida Hospital Waterman, Mount Dora Tour of Homes, The Florida Federation Women's Club for several of their events, and many other events such as weddings and partys. He is 20 years old and is currently the pianist for the First United Methodist Church of Umatilla, FL as well as his home church, First Baptist Church of Altoona, FL. He has had the privilege of meeting and playing for such artists as Anthony Burger, Jeff Stice, Stewart Varnado and Matthew Holt, just to name a few. Matthew's goal is to share God's message through music. In July 2007, Matthew attended the Steve Hurst School of Music in Nashville and had a great time. Matthew plans to return to Nashville next year!
